WATCHING: PSYCHO-PASS FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST DOCTOR WHO
READING: OTHELLO HAMLET FRISK AMERICAN PSYCHO
doctor ;
❝ yes and you’ve been here the whole time, so
i really don’t see why you’re bringing it up. ❞this is a conversation they’ve had over and over. one about his
change. he doesn’t need it pointed out to him this often and he’s
close to losing his temper on her.

❝ doctor … whenever i say you’ve changed ❞
she goes quiet and trains eyes on him that are that of fear. yes,
she’s rather good at pretending to be afraid of him. she’s careful
to start to even move away, more toward the doors of the TARDIS.
❝ i mean, i can’t stay with you like this. ❞
doctor ;

❝ you’ve definitely changed, you know. ❞
she’s decided ( or he, really it's interchangeable at this point ) that
this is the best way to break his two pathetic hearts. and poor miss
clara, she never really had a chance after all.
clara ;

heavy eyes train on the image of the girl who stands just merely
a few metres away. her silhouette hangs over him as he sits on a
chair and he’s carefully picking out little bits about her - things he
needs. he’ll get to know her like this first.
❝ hello again, miss clara, it has been so very long. ❞
her name is said with a cool HISS that’s much like that of winter
wind. he doesn’t show love for the girl, only words that are seen
as endearing caring, even.
( clara oswald. )
“He’d understand. He’d prefer it to being trapped inside his own body, watching you use it to commit all of these atrocities. He’d know that it’s the only way to stop you.”

❝ He would wouldn’t he? That is of course if I had committed
any atrocities and if he hadn’t willingly given his body and mind
over to me. Also, you would never find a way to hurt me, though
the effort you’re putting in to frighten me is adorable.❞
“I wasn’t intending to scream. You can make promises like that as much as you like, but maybe I should warn you that the moment I find a way to hurt you, I will— unless you get out of the Doctor’s body right now.”

❝ Oh, you’ve obviously not thought this through. If you
hurt me, you’ll be hurting him as well. Do you really think
that he’d be okay with that? Because I don’t. ❞
❝ If ya’ must know nosy-I were collecting
evidence-oi! who you calling strange? ❞

❝ Does it offend you to be called strange? I don’t
see why it would. Being strange isn’t a bad thing,
it just simply means you’re not like anyone I’ve
had the pleasure of meeting before. ❞
( ??? )
Oh now that was a challenge
for her. Head tilted in curiosity,
brown hues met with the strange metal
on his face, a hand ghosting over it
as if she was scanning
❝Definitely advanced technology…
harboring a complete conscience in it.
That’s technically not you’re body-you took
it over…Some form of a cyborg?❞

She wasn’t even afraid of him and perhaps that
was a good thing welcome even. But a cyborg?
Oh, she wished he was only that.
❝Do you really think that little of me already?
I’m much more than a cyborg, though I won’t
tell you what I actually am. My whole body
isn’t metal, by the way, so know I’m also not
a robot. But you, you’re a human. Nothing
more. ❞
( ??? )
Her heart clenched tight, her stomach doing flips as
she processed what she believed really did happen.
And it really did. The Doctor left her here. With this.
Why couldn’t he have had a different face?
Her heart broke in two. Everything she knew
about people, trust and loyalty thrown completely
out the window. Why was she so stupid to have
gone away with this man?Holding back her tears, Ellanor swallowed
her lips, giving her head a shake as she
kept things casual, even though she really
had no desire to even speak anymore
”No—it’s fine. I don’t want
to talk to him any way.”She would have to fend for herself.
Maybe for a little while if she could
find some impossible way to get out of here.Brows furrowing, the desperate waitress
looked up at him, her voice cracking,
”Please—-don’t kill me o-or anything.”
Grinding her teeth as she continued,
iffy on giving him such lines
people had probably said so many
times before her, ”I’ll do anything.”

Didn’t want to talk to him? If the Doctor could have heard
this girl, his hearts surely would have been broken, but
the comment only caused Clever to laugh at her. She was
stupid, so much more flustered than the other companion.
Her fear was obvious and striking, and she looked as if
she were going to cry. Surely there was more to her than
emotion? A character somewhere? She hadn’t issued a
challenge of any sort against him and he was perplexed
as to how she was so easily moved to do anything for him.
Definitely not like anyone he’d come across before and he
hoped, for her sake, that she would prove to be more fun
than she was being at this moment.
❝ And what is it that makes you think I’m going to kill you
hmm? I’ve not done anything that suggests me ending
your life. Anyways, I wouldn’t kill you because it’s important
that I keep your mind, or at least your body. Cybermen
are always needing spare parts. Won’t it be a surprise to
you as well, love, that I simply don’t need anything from you?
Although it’s flattering that you would do anything to stay
alive, I’m afraid you can’t give me what I want. ❞
Pondering her was one thing, but actually getting to see
who she was was another. As if it were an afterthought,
he added this to his words
❝ A shame that you don’t want to talk to him, because he
certainly wants to talk to you. ❞
❝ ya wish metal -man ❞

❝ So you were simply hiding for no reason?
And that look on your face isn’t fear then?
You’re certainly strange. ❞

❝ i —- i don’t know, i was going to ask you that
question. ❞ he still had the doctor’s body …
oh, what had the man gotten himself into now?
❝ how are you here? ❞

❝ Well I suppose I beat you too it, hmm? ❞
It’s quite the question. How did he regain the
Doctor’s body? She doesn’t know the answer
so she won’t know if he’s lying to her he
supposes it could be fun.
❝ I am here because your darling Doctor
is quite the idiot. Honestly he should’ve
destroyed me instead of the equipment
I was using. ❞
